The Stamford Fire Department said the blaze broke out at a home on Haig Avenue in Springdale on Oct. 10.

STAMFORD, CT — A GoFundMe has been created to help a Stamford family who was displaced by a house fire in the Springdale section of the city this past weekend.
The fundraiser is organized by Debbie Buzzeo, a friend of Sheila O'Grady and the O'Grady family.
"My dear friend Sheila O’Grady lost everything in her house fire last Sunday. Thankfully everyone, including her pets, escaped without any injuries, but the painful memory remains," Buzzeo said in the fundraiser description. "Sheila opens her heart and home to so many and now it’s time for us to open our hearts and wallets to help her."
