Green Party Holds Nominating Meeting In Stamford Saturday
The party is selecting candidates for state and local office in several towns, including New Canaan, Greenwich, Stamford, and Stratford.

STAMFORD, CT — The Fairfield County Green Party will hold a nominating meeting on Saturday, April 21, to select candidates for state and local office in several towns, including New Canaan, Greenwich, Stamford, and Stratford, party officials announced. The meeting will take place in the main lobby of UConn-Stamford beginning at 3 p.m.
The nominating meeting is open to the public, and all Green Party members residing in Fairfield County are eligible to vote on the nominations. Other interested voters are welcome to attend as observers.

The Green Party of Connecticut was founded in 1997 on principles of environmental and social justice. Green candidates have been elected to office in New Canaan, Redding, and Fairfield, while others have been appointed to town boards and commissions.
