Gunshot Survivor Found With Pistol Arrested: Stamford PD

He survived being shot several times a year ago.

STAMFORD, CT — A man who survived being shot multiple times in July 2016 was arrested by police after he was found to be carrying a pistol, police said.

Police noticed a group of people on Southwood Square and went up to them to investigate, according to the Stamford Advocate.

One man quickly walked away and then began to sprint as officers called after him. He ditched a pistol during the pursuit, police said.

Jason Raffaeli, 25, was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal trespass and interfering with police.
