Harbor Point To Host 11th Annual St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Stroll 5K

The free, non-timed event is open to all ages and abilities. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes or dress up in green.

STAMFORD, CT — In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Building and Land Technology (BLT) is calling all walkers, joggers and runners to participate in its annual Shamrock Stroll 5k taking place on Sunday, March 12 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in Harbor Point Square, 1 Harbor Point Road.

"The Shamrock Stroll is a long-standing tradition in Harbor Point for over a decade, and BLT is proud to be the continuous host," said Ted Ferrarone, co-president at BLT, in a news release. "Our thriving communities were built to offer everything residents and local visitors require to flourish; this includes outstanding programmed events right in your backyard."

The free, non-timed event is open to all ages and abilities, and participants are encouraged to wear costumes or dress up in green to celebrate the holiday. Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. (for participants) and the run beginning at 8 a.m.

Complementary parking for the event can be found at 2200 Atlantic and 100 Washington Blvd. parking garages.

This is a rain or shine event. Only in the event of thunderstorms will this event will be canceled.
