Here's When Beaches In Stamford Will Open

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Recreation has announced the opening dates and lifeguard hours for the 2022 summer beach season.

Cove Island, Cummings and West Beach

• Open weekends starting Memorial Day Weekend: May 28-30, through Labor Day Weekend Sept. 3-5
• Open weekdays starting Monday, June 20 through Monday, Sept. 5
• Lifeguard Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Quigley Beach

• No lifeguards on duty

Heroy Pool

• Open weekends starting Saturday, June 25 through Sunday, Aug. 14
• Hours 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Open weekdays starting Monday, June 27 through Friday, Aug. 12
• Hours 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Tram at Cove Island

• Open weekends starting Memorial Day Weekend: May 28-30 through Labor Day Weekend Sept. 3-5
• Open weekdays starting Monday, June 20 through Monday, Sept. 5
• Tram hours 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
