Heroin Overdose Occurs In Stamford Library Bathroom: Report

The near-fatal incident happened Thursday afternoon.

STAMFORD, CT — A man overdosed on heroin in a bathroom at the Ferguson Library Thursday afternoon, nearly dying before he was administered Narcan, reports the Stamford Advocate.

The unconscious victim was found in a second-floor bathroom with a needle in his arm, according to the publication, and had to be administered two doses of Narcan before he was revived and taken to Stamford Hospital.

He was treated in the hospital and released, refusing to discuss the overdose with police. He was not charged in connection with the incident.
