Historic Hot Dog Stand Opens Stamford Location
Walter's Hot Dogs is a big hit in Mamaroneck, N.Y. and early indications are it will be a popular place in Stamford as well.

STAMFORD, CT — Walter's Hot Dogs has started to serve food in Commons Park. The family owned- Mamoroneck, N.Y. spot has become a National Register of Historic Places spot.
The popular Walter's Hot Dogs was founded in 1919, according to the Stamford Advocate. The family launched two food trucks in 2015 that traveled the tri-state area. The family noticed that there was strong demand in the Harbor Point area.
The hot dog spot will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday Saturday.
