Carmine Anthony “Cake Face” Scutti, 11, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2014 at VCA Davis Animal Hospital in Stamford, CT surrounded by his loving parents of 7 years. He will be sadly and sorely missed by all.
Carmine, whom his family affectionately called “Cake Face” or “Baby C” will be remembered for his big, beautiful bulging eyes, sense of humor, dedication to his parents, laying dirty, drooling at the dinner table, really bad gas, and going through the garbage scrounging for food when home alone.
He loved eating (broccoli was one of his favorites - which is where the bad gas comes in), vacationing in Provincetown, going on long walks, meeting new people, carefully removing the insides of stuffed animals, and sleeping where he was not allowed.

A beloved pet, and devoted people lover whose kindness and gentle soul enriched all who knew him. Preceded in death by his mother, Heather Scutti, who let him get away with anything; because he was so good looking, his dad, Ron Scutti, who took him on long walks through Stamford, his canine cousins Stella, Murray, Oscar, Levi, Sunny and Tucker, and friends Griffy, Abby, Bobick, Chai, Will and Grace.
Carmine was born in Stamford, Ct.; exact date unknown. He drifted in and out of the Stamford Animal Shelter until he found a permanent home with the Scutti Family in 2007. He was privately educated at K-9 Wizard & Co where he received his degree in Canine Behavioral Science. Although, never employed, he used his education daily.
