Intoxicated Man Leads Stamford Police on Pursuit: PD
He ran a stop sign, made a turn without a signal and crossed into oncoming traffic, police said.

STAMFORD, CT—A Stamford man was arrested after he led police on a short pursuit Tuesday night, according to police.
Jessie Armstrong, 58, was speeding on Eli Avenue, made a turn without a signal, blew through a stop sign and crossed the double yellow line into oncoming traffic, according to the Stamford Advocate.
He was pulled over after a brief pursuit and falsely gave his name to officers. There were open containers of alcohol in the vehicle and he appeared intoxicated, but refused a sobriety test at police headquarters, according to police.

He was charged with DUI, interfering with police and numerous motor vehicle violations.
