Introduce Your Child to Golf This Summer!

Below is a complete list of Stamford Recreation Summer golf programs. To register, please visit our website or stop by our office on the first floor of Government Center, located at 888 Washington Blvd, Stamford, CT.

GOLF SQUIRTS (AGES 4 & 5)
Using the revolutionary SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system, Squirts Golf is an ideal introduction for young children to the game of golf. Players use modified golf clubs that encourage children to develop the correct grip and swing mechanics, and play to colorful Velcro targets rather than holes. Run by US Sports Institution!

When: July 30th - August 3rd
Days: Monday - Friday
Time: 4:30PM - 5:15PM
Fee: $75.00 per child for the week

GOLF CAMP (AGES 5 - 11)
Using the revolutionary new SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system, players will use modified golf clubs to develop the correct chipping, putting and driving techniques. All sessions take place in a safe and controlled environment and focus on fundamental skills, game tactics, and FUN! Run by US Sports Institution.

Time: 5:30PM - 7:00PM
Fee: $115.00 per child for the week

TGA PREMIER GOLF & TENNIS CAMP (GRADES K-5)
In the morning campers will be taken through the basic concepts of tennis while working on the serve, backhand and game each day. After lunch, students are taken through the basic concepts of golf like putting & chipping, to hitting fairway woods. All classes will have equipment provided, real golf clubs varying sizes, golf balls, hitting mats, target nets, along with ancillary equipment. By the end of the program, students will have confidence in their game to be playing on the golf course.
