K-9 Cronin Makes Drug Bust in Stamford Police Station: PD

Cronin walked by a woman's purse and indicated drugs may be inside.

STAMFORD, CT- Stamford Police Department's drug-sniffing dog made a minor bust right in the police station.

A 19-year-old woman came in to file report Tuesday when her purse caught K-9 Cronin's attention, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Cronin stopped near the purse and gave his partner Sgt. Richard Phelan a look that indicated drugs may be in the purse, police said.

Cronin put his paw on the woman's purse and Phelan asked the woman if she had any drugs on her. She had 4.6 grams of marijuana and a grinder. She was issued a ticket.
