Residents of a Thorn Ridge Drive home woke up during the storm and smelled smoke, according to News 12.

Firefighters encountered heavy smoke coming from the attic. They contained the fire and the incident was under control by 4:48 a.m., according to the Stamford Advocate
No one was hurt during the incident.
