STAMFORD, CT — Police said a man is accused of assaulting his girlfriend of 20 years at her job Monday, the Stamford Advocate reports. Police said Dwayne Keel, 44, of Bridgeport, dragged the woman by her hair in the waiting room of a doctor's office on High Ridge Road.

According to the Stamford Advocate, the incident occurred in front of three small children and their parents, police said. The accused subsequently fled the building with the woman's phone, however officers were able to contact him and convinced him to turn himself in, police said.
