Update: Two Men Charged With Murder for 2012 Stamford Shooting
Darius Jones was shot and killed on Custer Street in July 2012.
Two men have been charged with the murder of Darius Jones, who was shot in July 2012 on Custer Street after leaving a party.
Glachan “Lou” Charlestin, 23, of 117 Marion Street, Bridgeport and Randy Francis, 24, of 44 Sterling Place, Stamford were arrested between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, police said.
During the July 8, 2012 incident, four males were shot on Custer Street after leaving a party. Darius Jones, who was one of the males succumbed to his injury. He was shot once in the chest.

The three additional victims were treated at Stamford Hospital and released.
Stamford Police were able to develop Charlestin and Francis as suspects in the shootings but were unable to obtain enough cooperation from possible witnesses to arrest both males.

Over the past two and a half years, police slowly developed information to obtain arrest warrants for both males.
Both Charlestin and Francis have been charged with murder and bonds for both suspects are set at $2.5 million.
