Man Chokes To Death On Steak At Stamford Restaurant: Report
Police said a 32-year-old Long Island man is dead after choking on a piece of steak at a Stamford restaurant.

STAMFORD, CT — A 32-year-old Long Island man is dead after choking on a steak at a downtown restaurant Thursday night, the Stamford Advocate reports. The man, whose identity has not been released yet, was dining at Blackstone's Steakhouse when the incident occurred, police said.
According to the Stamford Advocate, officers and medics responded to the restaurant, performed CPR for over 30 minutes and were able to remove the piece of food from his throat and recover a pulse. He was then rushed to a hospital, where he went into cardiac arrest and later died, police said.
