Man High on PCP Accused of Forcing His Way into Stamford Apartment

The suspect is accused of entering the apartment late Wednesday night.

A homeless man who told Stamford Police he was high on PCP when he forced his way into a woman’s apartment is facing several charges including burglary in connection with the Wednesday night incident.

Edgard Diaz, 37, is accused of forcing his way into the woman’s Henry Street apartment after she smoked a cigarette on a balcony outside her residence, and terrifying the woman’s son, according to The Advocate.

Diaz was caught a short distance away and was held in lieu of $25,000 bond set on first-degree burglary, risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct, according to The Advocate story that can be found here.
