Man Killed In Shooting At Stamford Hotel, ID Released: Police
Police said they were called to the hotel shortly before 11 a.m. on Oct. 14 on a report of a shooting.

STAMFORD, CT — A 59-year-old man was shot and killed at a Stamford hotel Monday morning, according to police, and investigators are seeking information from the public.
Police were called to the Super 8 hotel on Grenhart Road in Stamford at approximately 10:40 a.m. on Oct. 14 where they found Angel Samaniego, of Stamford, with a gunshot wound, the Stamford Police Department said in a news release.
Samaniego was pronounced dead at the scene, police added.

An investigation is "active and ongoing," police said.
