Investigation Continues Into Fatal Shooting In Stamford: Report
The shooting occurred Saturday night, according to authorities.
STAMFORD, CT — A man was shot and killed on Garden Street in Stamford's South End on Saturday night, reports the Stamford Advocate. The killing marks the city's first homicide of 2019.
The victim's identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the shooting, which occurred at about 10:45 p.m.
News 12 Connecticut writes that the victim was shot while sitting in the front seat of his vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at Stamford Hospital after emergency personnel rushed him to the facility.
No arrests have been made as of Sunday afternoon, and the shooting remains under investigation. Stamford police urge anyone with information about the crime to contact the department at 204-977-4417.
