Man Sought in Stamford Hate Crime: PD

STAMFORD, CT- Police are seeking to identify a man who reportedly punched a woman in the face after finding out she was a lesbian.

The women were walking on Spring Street early Saturday mroning as bars were closing and were approached by a man who began flirting with them, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The women said they were lesbians and not interested in men. The man then made a remark about lesbians before punching one of the women in the face, police said.
