The Mask You Live In

Are We Failing Our Boys?

Greenwich Education Group is pleased to partner with the YWCA of Greenwich, the Junior League of Greenwich and other relevant community agencies in hosting the first Connecticut screening of the much-anticipated documentary “The Mask You Live in” on Tuesday, March 31st at the Bow Tie Criterion Cinemas in Greenwich. This important work debuted at the Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews in January.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the filmmaker behind the praiseworthy “Miss Representation,” examines the state of American Masculinity. Research shows that boys, compared to girls, are more likely to engage in several risky behaviors, especially violence against others and suicide. This film compels us to ask: As a society, how are we failing our boys?
