Mayor Caroline Simmons Set To Present Budget To Stamford Board Of Finance
A joint meeting between the Stamford Board of Finance and Board of Representatives Fiscal Committee is scheduled for this week.
STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Board of Finance is scheduled to receive an overview of the proposed FY 2026–27 city budget and capital spending plan during a joint meeting with the Board of Representatives Fiscal Committee on Thursday evening.
The joint meeting will be held Thursday, March 5, at 6 p.m., in a virtual-only format via Microsoft Teams, according to the meeting notice. A separate public comment period is not listed on the agenda.
Mayor Caroline Simmons is set to present the proposed budget and give a capital budget overview, which is expected to address proposed funding for infrastructure, facilities and long-term capital projects planned for FY 2026–27.

The agenda also includes departmental budget presentations, beginning with the Administration, presented by Stamford Director of Economic Development Leah Kagan, followed by the Mayor’s Office, presented by Chief of Staff Bridget Fox.
