Mayor Helps Patriot Bank Unveil New Stamford Flagship Branch
Continued Bank's Expansion Grows Its Stamford Workforce 42%

Stamford leaders, including Mayor David Martin and Chamber of Commerce President Jack Condlin, joined Patriot Bank executives and board members as they officially dedicate the regional community bank’s new flagship branch in Stamford.
Mayor Martin and bank leaders cut the ribbon and then toured the 11,000 square foot, three-level, state-of-the-art banking facility, which sits directly across the street from Patriot’s longtime corporate headquarters on Stamford’s Bedford Street, at the intersection of Hoyt Street.
“Congratulations to Patriot Bank on their new modern and convenient location, which will enhance their customer’s experience,” said Stamford Mayor David Martin. “Patriot Bank has been a great corporate citizen and we are happy to see them expanding their footprint here in Stamford.”

“As Patriot Bank has grown, so has our employment of local bankers, our expansion of high technology capabilities and all of this has necessitated us to add significant space for new and expanded operations in our hometown of Stamford. Our newest branch location at 999 Bedford Street will be more than a bank, it will be a modern technology and digital security center supporting the growth of Patriot operations taking place all throughout this region,” said Patriot Bank president Richard Muskus Jr.

The new facility includes Patriot’s expanded compliance and bank security operations and its flagship bank branch on the concourse level. The upper level will serve as home to Patriot’s Interactive Banker division, servicing its Live Banker ATMs, which offer extended banking service operations for customers through Patriot’s digital banking network. Patriot is the only community bank in the extended region to have the advanced Live-Banker technology.
In the last 18 months the headcount of Patriot staff located in Stamford has grown 42%, from 50 to 71 at the end of 2017. Patriot leaders expect continued expansion to accommodate customer account growth.
The new 999 Bedford Street location is 1 block from the Stamford Courthouse and Stamford Police Center. The ground level of the Patriot headquarters, at 900 Bedford Street where the branch was previously is being converted for expanded use for corporate and lending operations.
