Artists’ reception November 5th 5-7 PM

The Mayor’s Gallery is proud to present “Celebrating the Board of Directors of the Stamford Art Association” The Mayor’s Gallery invites you to a special exhibition celebrating the artistic talents of the Stamford Art Association’s Board of Directors. These dedicated volunteers do more than support the arts—they are accomplished artists themselves!
Featured Artists: Christine Irvin (President), Maria Friscia, Nadia Martinez, Barbara Mathis, Brett Masterson, and Valeria Ochoa.
The exhibition also recognizes fellow board members Jean Benoit, Tania Hoppe, and Neha Kahir for their contributions to the organization.
There will be an artists’ reception on November 5th from 5-7 PM. The public is invited to meet the artist. Join us for an evening of art, conversation, and celebration as we recognize the individuals whose creativity, leadership, and commitment have helped provide exhibition opportunities and foster a thriving community.
A Legacy of Creativity and Community: Founded in 1971, the Stamford Art Association has been a cornerstone of Fairfield County’s cultural landscape for more than 55 years. This nonprofit organization brings together painters, sculptors, photographers, printmakers, and multimedia artists, providing opportunities to exhibit, connect, and grow.
Through juried exhibitions at its charming three-story townhouse gallery on Franklin Street in downtown Stamford, as well as exhibitions at the Ferguson Library, the Association introduces audiences to a diverse range of artistic styles, media, and perspectives.
Its commitment to the community extends beyond gallery walls through children's art workshops, critiques, and other programs designed to encourage artistic expression and appreciation.
