Medical Marijuana Dispensary Discussed For Stamford: Report

STAMFORD, CT — The city could receive its first medical marijuana dispensary if an application currently before the Stamford Zoning Board is approved, reports the Stamford Advocate.

The Zoning Board is scheduled to discuss an application from Kind Care LLC to house dispensary in the Clark’s Hill Shopping Plaza on East Main Street. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. tonight, March 12.

Stamford's Planning Board has already approved the request, but it must also receive state approval. Connecticut currently has nine such dispensaries - none in lower Fairfield County yet - and is looking to add three more.
