Meet the Author Wendy Mass at The Ferguson Library

A special visit from the critically-acclaimed author for kids in grades 3 and up and their families.

On Sunday, November 8 at 2 p.m., The Ferguson Library presents its annual Jeanne Rinehart Family Program with a visit from the critically-acclaimed author Wendy Mass. The program will take place in the Third Floor Auditorium at the Ernest A. DiMattia, Jr. Building of The Ferguson Library. A book sale and signing will follow the presentation. The program is for kids in grades 3 and up and their families.


Wendy Mass is the author of eleven novels for young people (which have been translated into 13 languages and nominated for 46 state book awards), including A Mango-Shaped Space (which was awarded the Schneider Family Book Award by the American Library Association), Leap Day, the Twice Upon a Time fairy tale series, Every Soul a Star, 11 Birthdays, Heaven Looks a Lot Like the Mall, Pi in the Sky, and Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life (soon to be a feature film), Finally, The Candymakers, 13 Gifts, and her latest, Graceful and a new early reader series, Space Taxi. Ms. Mass tells people her hobbies are hiking and photography, but really they’re collecting candy bar wrappers and searching for buried treasure with her metal detector. She lives with her family in New Jersey.
