More Layoffs Expected At Stamford RBS

The company has laid off more than 600 people since 2015.

STAMFORD, CT — The Royal Bank of Scotland plans to lay off another 43 workers in Stamford on Dec. 12.

It's the latest announced round of layoffs at the company's Stamford location. Another 10 workers were laid off Oct. 17, according to paperwork filed with the state Department of Labor.

Layoffs also occurred in March, April May, June, July and September. In total the company has laid off more than 600 people in Stamford since 2015, according to the Stamford Advocate.
