Motorcyclist, 44, Killed In Crash: Stamford Police

The crash occurred at approximately 12:10 a.m. Thursday, the Stamford Police Department said.

STAMFORD, CT — A 44-year-old Stamford resident was killed early Thursday morning in a motorcycle crash on Long Ridge Road, according to police.

Police are withholding the identity of the motorcyclist until family can be notified.

A 2024 BMW motorcycle was traveling northbound on Long Ridge Road near the junction with Brook Run Lane at approximately 12:10 a.m. when it left the roadway on the northbound side, struck a fence and then a tree, police said.

The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike, police noted, and they were pronounced dead at the scene.
