Nancy E. Corridor, 82, passed away Sept. 10, 2021 after battling a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur Esposito and Emma Pauline (Polly) Koehler Esposito. Born on June 5, 1939, she was a life long resident of Stamford, CT. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Michael P. Corridor. Nancy leaves behind 2 children, Michael Corridor of Stamford, CT and Michele O’Grady (and her husband Paul O’Grady) of Wilton, CT; 2 grandchildren, Emily O’Grady of New York, NY and Zachary O’Grady of Wilton, CT; her brother, Gary Esposito of Norwalk, CT; along with many cousins and friends whom she cherished.

Nancy was an Office Manager at Bill’s Refrigeration in Stamford, CT for many years until her retirement in 2014. Nancy was an animal lover and often took in strays and lovingly nurtured them throughout their lives. She extended that love to small outdoor critters who were unafraid to be in her company. Her family was often surprised by the knock on the door of squirrels who were seeking her out for their snacks. An avid sewer, she made most of her clothing and was often complimented on her talent. She created many award-winning Halloween costumes for her children and later on, her grandchildren. Nancy’s biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored and they adored her.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Cemetery.
