New Canaan Man Charged for Stamford Sucker Punch Incident: PD

The victim was punched for no apparent reason, police said.

STAMFORD, CT—A New Canaan man was arrested after he sucker-punched a victim for no apparent reason, according to police.

George Amrhein, 21, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault after he was picked out of a photo lineup by the victim, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The incident occurred outside of Bar Q.
