New Downtown Stamford Restaurant Opens

STAMFORD, CT — The Viceroy Publik House has opened on Summer Street, which helps fill in space in the downtown restaurant scene.

The restaurant is owned by entrepreneur Ramya Lakshman and combines British and Indian fare from Shepherd's pie to spicy vindaloo chicken wings and lamb madras. To sign up for Stamford breaking news alerts and more, click here.

“The wheel has already been invented, “ said Stamford restaurateur Eric Monte, who helped create the pub. “Our goal was to simply create a style of restaurant and bar that spoke to the core values of a traditional English pub – historic influences and all.”

The pub is located at 211 Summer Street.
