New Stores, Experiences Coming To Stamford Mall This Year

STAMFORD, CT — A number of new stores and experiences are coming to the Stamford Town Center mall this fall, some of which will open within the next few days. According to General Manager Dan Stolzenbach, both Spirit Halloween, a seasonal store that sells Halloween costumes and decorations, and Perfume World, which offers the latest scents and brands of perfume and cologne, will open at the mall by the end of the week.

In October, the mall will welcome Sports Fan, a sports memorabilia shop, and Seventh Sense, a line of botanical cosmetics infused with CBD, to its roster of stores.

Moving further into the season, both the Fun Palace and Kilim Designs will open in November. The former is a children's amusement concept with virtual reality components, while the latter offers Turkish rugs and other home furnishings.

"We will also be opening several holiday shops as we get into November and December," Stolzenbach said in an email to Patch.

In addition to new tenants, the mall also has several events coming up this season, including a fall festival taking place right after the Stamford EMS "Run for Your Life" event on Oct. 27. Held on the mall's restaurant plaza, the festival will feature entertainers, fall-themed activities, face painting, live music, food, beverages and more.

As the holidays approach, children young and old can anticipate the arrival of Santa Claus on Nov. 7.

The mall will also continue its annual "Holidays in Harmony" tradition, featuring a festive series of performances by school bands, choirs and orchestras from surrounding districts. There will also be additional live musical performances on weekends throughout the holiday season.
