This Stamford Neighborhood Is Among The Best Places To Live In CT: Niche
Niche has released its list of the best places to live in Connecticut.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford's Newfield neighborhood has made Niche's 2024 list of best places to live in Connecticut.
Niche, an online company used by millions of people to find schools and places to live, creates the annual "Best Places to Live" rankings by using data from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC and other sources. The company considers factors such as crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities.
Newfield came in at No. 12 on the list.

Additionally, Stamford as a whole was ranked 108th on Niche's 2024 list of best cities to live in in America. New Haven, which was ranked 187th, was the only other CT city to make the list.

For the national ranking, Niche analyzed 230 cities and more than 18,000 places. Community attributes considered in developing the list included the health of the local housing market, neighborhood diversity, area public schools and walkability, among others.

Overall in the United States, the five best places to live, according to the national ranking, are, respectively, Colonial Village, Virginia, a Washington, D.C., neighborhood; Carmel, Indiana; Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania; Uptown Tampa, Florida; and Cinco Ranch, Texas.
