Nixon Henry, 50; Stamford Resident Who Worked as a Security Guard

Mr. Henry was killed in a car crash Nov. 7.

Nixon Henry, a Stamford resident, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 50.

Nixon was born in Haiti on Sept. 14, 1964 to Marie Pierre and Francois Henry.

Nixon is survived by his beloved wife, Yva Dieudonne Henry, and two children; Elena and Nickerson Henry. He is also survived by his mother, Marie Pierre, his father, Francois Henry and his wife, Talisse Henry, two brothers; Adderson and Fritzner Henry, and two sisters; Pascale and Marie France Henry.

Nixon came from Haiti to the United States in 1989 at the age of 25. He had a friendly disposition and always had a smile on his face. He loved to work and was employed as a security guard by CPS at the time of his passing. Nixon will be missed by his family, friends and all those who loved him and will live on in their hearts.

The Henry family will receive the sympathy and condolences from friends and family on the morning of Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 29 Grove St., in Stamford. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. The interment will immediately follow the service at Long Ridge Union Cemetery, 154 Erskine Road, in Stamford.
