Northeast Sports Card Expo To Return To Stamford With Celebrity Guests, 350-Plus Vendor Tables
The event will feature 350-plus vendor tables, free celebrity autographs, authentication, grading, raffles, mascots, giveaways, and more.
STAMFORD, CT — The Northeast Sports Card Expo will return to Chelsea Piers Athletic Club in Stamford on Sept. 12 and 13.
The event, recently named the No. 1 Sports Collectors Event in America in the USA TODAY Sports Readers’ Choice Awards, will feature sports cards, Pokémon and other trading card games, memorabilia and collectibles.
The 45,000-square-foot event will include more than 350 vendor tables, free celebrity autograph signings, on-site authentication and grading, prize raffles, sports mascots and giveaways.

Attendees with paid admission will receive one free autograph from each celebrity guest during the guest’s scheduled appearance time.
Saturday’s lineup includes UConn basketball players Kara Wolters, Chris Smith and Lyman DePriest; former Hartford Whalers captain Russ Anderson; former Hartford Whalers and New York Rangers player Bob Crawford; and professional wrestlers Allie Katch and Prodigette Angel Orsini.

Sunday’s guests include two-time world light heavyweight boxing champion Chad Dawson, UConn basketball player Heather Buck, former NHL player Andre Dore, mixed martial arts fighter Mike "The Savage" Kimbel, and professional wrestlers Johnny Swinger and John Skyler.
Collectors will be able to browse new and vintage sports cards, Pokémon and other trading card games, sports memorabilia, non-sports cards, toys, Funko Pops and other collectibles.
Authentication and grading services will be available on-site throughout the weekend.
A "Trade Night" hosted by Skybox Collectibles will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Chelsea Piers. The event is free with Expo admission and will include trading, free pizza and raffle prizes.
The first 200 attendees each day will receive a free commemorative show poster designed by Connecticut artist Eric Panke.
The Stamford show will run from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, and from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13. Early entry begins at 9 a.m. both days.
General admission costs $20 Saturday and $15 Sunday. Children younger than 12 are admitted free. Free on-site parking is available.
