Angela Scinto, 89, a resident of Madison, CT, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2022, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.
Angela was born in Stamford on January 25, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Lucy Romaniello Volpe. She graduated from Stamford High School.

Angela worked as a typist for Pitney Bowes for 20 years. She enjoyed singing, cooking, and reading.
Angela is survived by her four sons, Leonard and his wife Josephine, Anthony, Frank and his wife Jeanne, and David. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Adriana and her husband Danny Galasso, Christina and Ashlyn Scinto. Angela also leaves behind her sister, Irene Gonzalez, her brother, Thomas Volpe, her sister-in-law, Kathy Scinto and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Angela is predeceased by her husband Frank M. Scinto, Sr., her in-laws, Leonardo and Ines Scinto, as well as sisters-in-law Sue Cox, Linda Volpe, Jennie Peavey, and brothers-in-law Harry Peavey and Anthony Scinto.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 15th with visitation from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Darien.
