Obituary: Antonio Polimeni, 54, Lifelong Stamford Resident
Tony was an avid Met fan, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and skeet shooting. He also loved to spend time with family and friends.

Antonio Polimeni “Tony”, 54, a lifelong resident of Stamford, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
Tony was born on August 4, 1969, in Stamford to Cosimo & Concetta (Pisanelli) Polimeni. He graduated from Westhill High school and attended college at Norwalk Community College, and Sacred Heart University.

Tony worked in sales for several different car dealerships throughout Fairfield County. He was an avid met fan, enjoyed hunting, fishing and skeet shooting. He also loved to spend time with family and friends.
Tony is survived by his loving mother Concetta Polimeni, his sister Anna Maisner (Gerry) and his nieces Jessica, and Alyssa. He is also survived by many childhood friends who have become family over the years, and many cousins who helped and cared for Tony.

Tony is predeceased by his father Cosimo Polimeni.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday September 7, 2023, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday September 8, 2023, at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue in Stamford. Entombment will immediately follow at St. Johns Cemetery in Darien.
