Obituary: Arnold Steiger, 92, Of Stamford

Arnold Steiger, 92, passed away peacefully, in Stamford, Connecticut on July 15, 2023, at the age of 92.

He will be deeply missed by beloved wife and true love, Rhoda Steiger. He was adored by his children and their spouses, Marc and Lynne Steiger, Pam Korson and David Sherman, Richard and Kim Korson, Ben and Corinne Steiger. Cherished by his grandchildren, Sam and Isaac Steiger, Ella and Oscar Korson, Tamar and Meital Sherman. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Elaine and Ammon Orent. Arnold will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Arnold was an accomplished CPA and founding partner at Kahan Steiger & Company P.C. He was also a long-time member and supporter of The Jewish Historical Society of Fairfield County. Arnold enjoyed traveling the world with Rhoda, studying maps, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his sweet nature, his sense of humor, and warm, generous personality.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 18 at 10 am at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 104 Myrtle Ave, Stamford, CT 06902. His final resting place will be at the Independent Lodge, 305 Hoyt St., Darien CT.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Jewish Historical Society of Fairfield County.

Shiva will be held on Tuesday July 18, 2023 from 1 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. at Edgehill in the Cardroom located at 122 Palmers Hill Rd. Stamford, CT 06902. The facility has asked that all guests visiting the Steiger family please wear a mask and sign in and out at the front desk. Thank you.
