Obituary: Donald Michael DeVito, 84

Donald Michael DeVito was born to John and Catherine (Carlucci) DeVito on August 29, 1939, in Stamford, CT.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Catholic University and later a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the George Washington University. Donald spent more than 50 years in the engineering field, working for Magnavox Corporation and the U.S. Government.

He was a devoted husband to his wife of 45 years Charlotte Carvette DeVito of Mclean, Va; loving father to his children, Michael DeVito (Brenda) of Eagle, Id; Nina DeVito Kilbourne (Drew) of Vienna, Va; Kathryn DeVito (Kevin Price) of McLean,Va; and grandfather to Emily and Jack Kilbourne, Dominic and Anthony DeVito, and Benjamin Price. He is also survived by his siblings Jack DeVito (Bunny) of Danbury, CT, and Daniel DeVito (Anna) of Westport, CT; his sisters-in-law Joan Pellegrino of Riverside, CT, and Louise Pawloski (Walt) of Southbury, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, his brother-in-law Jerry Pellegrino and his first wife Connie Fraser.
