Obituary: Francine Tiso, 66, Of Stamford

Our beloved wife, mother and nonnie, Francine (Fran) Tiso of Stamford, CT sadly passed away on June 25, 2023 at the age of 66. More than anything, Fran cherished time spent with her family and friends. She especially loved bowling, reading, laughing, dancing, enjoying the beach and pool. Fran was the daughter of Jim and Jean Fortunato, both of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years Bob Tiso, her daughters Stefanie Horn (John) and Felicia Tiso (Jesse), and grandchildren Johnnie, Bobbi and Rory Horn, who were the joy of her life. Fran also leaves behind her sister, Carla McCoy (Keith) and brother, James Fortunato (Jean) along with five nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 30, 2023 at St. Leo’s Church, located at 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford, CT. Friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home, located at 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Bennett Cancer Center, One Hospital Plaza, Stamford, CT 06902.
