Obituary: Marilyn T. Tiscia, 96, Of Stamford

Marilyn T. Tiscia, a lifelong resident of Stamford, Connecticut, passed away on December 12, 2022. She was born in Stamford, on November 14, 1926 to the late Oreste and Margaret Aliterno. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years Leonard (Lenny) V. Tiscia, two sisters and their husbands, Eleanor Genovese (James), Lois Trimboli (Felix) and brother-in-law Peter Cosentini.

Marilyn graduated from Stamford High School in 1944. She was employed by Grade A Market where she worked in accounts payable, retiring at age 79 with over 30 years of service.

She is survived by her two sons, Leonard Tiscia Jr. (Mary) of Naugatuck, CT and Gary Tiscia (Dawn) of Madison, CT, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Audrey Cosentini of Stamford as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Nicholas Pavia at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT.
