Obituary: Pietrina A. Scollard (Penzavecchia), 83, Of Stamford
Pietrina loved fishing and was on a bowling league for many years. She also loved decorating her home for every holiday.
Pietrina (Née Penzavecchia) Scollard, 83, of Stamford, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on Thursday August 4, 2022 at home with her sister by her side. Pietrina was born on April 25, 1939 in South Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late George and Josephine Caramagna Penzavecchia.
Pietrina was an avid New York Mets and Brooklyn Dodgers fan. She loved fishing and was on a bowling league for many years. She also loved decorating her home for every holiday.

Pietrina is survived by her sister, Georgette Penzavecchia of Stamford CT, her niece Dana and her husband Ron Gierek, of Upper Saddle River, NJ and Alicia Van Cott and her husband, David of Boston, MA. She is also survived by four great nieces and nephews, Ava and Matthew and Fiona and Austin.Besides her parents, Pietrina was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter D. Scollard.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment will take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
