Obituary: Roger Paul Foglio, 74, Formerly Of Stamford
Roger worked for the city of Stamford for over 50 years. He was a sweet soul who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Roger Paul Foglio passed away on March 8, 2024, in Waterbury, CT. Roger was born on May 2, 1949, in Stamford, CT to the late Homer P. Foglio and the late Marie Parady. He lived in Stamford, CT until he moved to Waterbury, CT in 2019 to live with his nephew, Allan. He was also predeceased by his beloved twin brother Russell Foglio and his stepmother, Phyllis (Florence) Foglio.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister Paula Lisowski and her husband Eugene of SC. His sister-in-law, Ann Foglio of Stamford, CT. His nephews Allan J. Gregoire Jr. with whom he made his home, David Gregoire, and his wife Laurie. His great nieces Briana Gregoire, Anna Gregoire, and Haley Gregoire. He also leaves several cousins in Stamford, CT.

Roger graduated from Rippowam High School in 1968. He worked for the City of Stamford from 1968 until his retirement in 2002.
He was a lifelong Yankees, Giants, and Rangers fan and loved his classic car and going to cruise nights and car shows.

Roger was a sweet soul who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends will be received on March 14, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. He will be buried alongside his dad and stepmother in Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, New York.
