Opening Acts Sought For Stamford's Alive@5 Summer Concert Series
The DSSD is accepting applications from artists interested in performing during this year's Alive@Five and Wednesday Nite Live concerts.
STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Downtown Special Services District is currently accepting applications for bands interested in playing as an opening act during this year's Alive@Five and Wednesday Nite Live outdoor summer concert series.
Both concerts have become popular annual events and typically feature national headliners. Last year's Alive@5 lineup included artists such as 98° and T-PAIN.
This year's Alive@Five concerts are scheduled to take place at 5 p.m. on July 9, 16, 23 and 30, according to a statement from the DSSD.

Wednesday Nite Live concerts are scheduled for July 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 6:30 p.m. Past headliners include artists such as Andy Grammer, Chubby Checker and B.B. King.
Both concerts take place in the downtown area of Stamford.

To apply for the chance to perform as an opening act to a potential national headliner, artists are asked to visit the event calendar at stamford-downtown.com, where complete application and performance requirements can be found. The deadline to apply is March 16.
