Pair Charged with Assaulting Stamford Waiter

The victim suffered a broken jaw when he was sucker-punched by the suspects.

Assault charges have been brought against two men who are accused of sucker-punching a Stamford restaurant waiter, breaking his jaw.

Second-degree assault and conspiracy to commit second-degree assault charges were lodged against Ram Komani, 19, of Winfield Street, Norwalk, and Gazmend Komonaj, 28, of Highland Avenue Waterbury, on Sunday when the pair surrendered to Stamford Police, according to The Advocate.

The suspects were identified in a surveillance video and by the victim who had surgery to repair his jaw, according to the newspaper report that can be found here.
