Patricia Sweeney Joins Stamford's First County Bank as Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager

First County Bank is pleased to announce the recent addition of Patricia (Patty) A. Sweeney who joins the Bank’s Commercial Banking Division as an officer and portfolio manager. First County Bank’s addition of Patty demonstrates the Bank’s growth in its commercial banking services to better meet the needs of its customers.

“With the addition of Patty Sweeney, First County Bank demonstrates its commitment to our customers in the area of commercial banking,” said Reyno Giallongo, First County Bank’s chairman and CEO. “Patty brings a strong background of commercial lending and portfolio management through over 30 years of experience in banking and commercial lending. She has a depth of experience with many aspects of commercial banking including commercial lending, SBA loans, portfolio management, originations, underwriting and loan processing. We look forward to her contributions which complement and further enrich the expertise of our First County Bank Commercial Banking Division.

In her role as Portfolio Manager, Patricia (Patty) A. Sweeney is responsible for maintaining the integrity of a portfolio of relationships in support of First County Bank Commercial Banking’s overall goals. Patty performs all aspects of financial analysis, underwriting, risk assessment, loan structure, sensitivity analysis and completion of credit approval documents. She maintain the integrity of portfolio loans relationships ensuring credit quality and soundness of risk, condition of credit files and integrity of the Bank’s data systems.

Prior to joining First County Bank, Patty was a commercial lender for over fifteen years at The Wilton Bank, Wilton, CT, which was acquired by Bankwell last year. She knows the local market and customer needs. Sweeney attended George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. A longtime Wilton resident, Patty has been actively involved with many community organizations over the years and is currently Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Wilton, co-chair of the Wilton Memorial Day Parade Committee, and participates in the annual Kiwanis/Rotary HomeFront project.
