Pedestrian Critically Injured When Struck by Car on Stamford's West Side
Police are seeking witnesses to the Wednesday night accident.
Stamford Police are seeking witnesses to an accident that left a 39-year-old city resident critically injured when they were struck by a car while crossing West Main Street near Diaz Street Wednesday night.
An unidentified 46-year-old Stamford resident was driving a 1995 Toyota Camry eastbound on West Main Street when he struck the pedestrian, who was crossing the road, police told The Courant. The pedestrian suffered severe head injuries and was taken to Stamford Hospital.
