ID Released In Fatal Stamford Pedestrian Crash: UPDATE
Police are asking the public to help them identify the victim.

UPDATE: The victim in Thursday's fatal pedestrian accident has been identified as Sanh Truong, 89, of Stamford, NBC Connecticut reports Saturday.
STAMFORD, CT — Police are asking the public's help to identify a person who was struck and killed in a crash Aug. 17.
A Toyota Prius was traveling on High Ridge Road and struck a pedestrian who was crossing the road near the Burger King restaurant. The pedestrian wasn't in the crosswalk, police said. The Prius operator stayed on scene.

The pedestrian was not carrying any identification and Stamford Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the victim. He is an Asian male 60 – 70 years of age with grey hair medium length and a receding hair line. 5’ 4” to 5’ 7” weighing approximately 140 pounds. He was wearing a blue button down short sleeve shirt over a brown button down shirt, red pants and grey and blue Asics sneakers. He was wearing a white face Timex watch on his left wrist and a blue latex glove on his right hand.
