"In A Perfect World": Film Screening and Panel Discussion

Documentary screening and panel discussion co-sponsored 100 Black Men of Stamford, DOMUS, and Urban League of Southern Connecticut.

The Ferguson Library will host a special film screening and panel discussion of the documentary, In A Perfect World, on Wednesday, May 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Main Library, DiMattia Building. (Light food and beverages from 6 to 7 p.m.) The program is co-sponsored by 100 Black Men of Stamford, DOMUS, and Urban League of Southern Connecticut. Register online at fergusonlibrary.org/event/.

In A Perfect World explores what it is to be a man raised by a single mother. The inspiration for the film came from the director's own relationship with her son, who has a largely absentee father. With Claire Smith Bermingham, Eddie Cuevas, John Cuevas. Directed by Daphne McWilliams. 2015. USA. Rated TV-14. 75 minutes.
