Identity Released Of Man Killed By Train In Stamford: Update
The incident occurred at about 6:50 p.m. on Friday.

STAMFORD, CT — A 29-year-old Bridgeport man has been identified as the person struck and killed by a Metro-North train Friday evening in Stamford, reports the Stamford Advocate.
Jamir Rawlings was struck at about 6:50 p.m. The circumstances of surrounding the incident have not been disclosed as Metro-North officials continue to investigate.

Metro-North initially reported delays on the New Haven Line due to a person being struck by a train, but the transit agency confirmed the fatality to the publication later in the evening.
