UPDATE: Stamford Teen Has Returned Home

Police have cancelled the Silver Alert for the boy who went missing on Wednesday.

The teen has returned home and is safe, according to his family and authorities.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a Stamford teen who authorities have described as an endangered runaway.

Fourteen-year-old Alex Nieves was last seen on Wednesday, May 13.

He is described as a white male with brown eyes and black hair. He stands five-foot-four and weighs 140 pounds.

Alex was last seen wearing a blue tee shirt, beige pants and Adidas sandals.
